Mos Def coming to Australia

2011 sees one half of Black Star coming to our shores for the Ecstatic Tour. It his first headline tour, after gracing our shores in 2006 as support act for DJ Shadow (I must admit, for me, he was the headline of that show). I'm very much looking forward to seeing his perform his latest album The Ecstatic live (which has by the way recently earned him a 2010 Grammy nomination. Mos Def will be performing at the following venues:

• Saturday Jan 8th@ Soundscape Festival, Hobart
• Sunday Jan 9th @ The Enmore Theatre, Sydney
• Thursday Jan 13th @ The Tivoli Theatre, Brisbane
• Friday Jan 14th @ The Palace Theatre, Melbourne
